Student Named ‘Young Philanthropist of the Year’

Madison, Wis. (November 13, 2015) – Alex Haunty, a student at Edgewood College, has been named the ‘Young Philanthropist of the Year’ by the Madison chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals. Haunty was honored at today’s National Philanthropy Day luncheon at the Overture Center in Madison.

Construction Update - October 2015

Great progress continues on the new residence hall project. All the interior and exterior structural wall panels have been installed. The heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) crew has work underway with the installation of duct work and piping in the lower level. Installation of the roof trusses is nearly complete, and is ready for wood work. Once the prep work for the trusses is complete, crews will beging installing shingles. Masons will begin exterior brickwork while the roofing is completed.

Men’s Golf Achieves Both In and Out of the Classroom

The Edgewood College men’s golf team has placed themselves among the nation’s academically elite golf programs. The Eagles were one of just 24 teams nationwide, and one of only eight NCAA Division III programs to receive the 2015 President’s Special Recognition from the Golf Coaches Association of America.
